Greg and Amy clarify why God’s wrath is morally right even though human vengeance is wrong. God has the authority to judge evil, and his wrath reflects his fixed opposition to rebellion rather than an emotional loss of control. Just as we expect a good judge to punish criminals, we should recognize God’s judgment as an expression of his goodness.
