When Faith Feels Fake: Peter Christensen’s Return from Doubt

Description

Peter Christensen didn’t grow up doubting God.

He was raised in a strong Christian home, surrounded by truth, community, and biblical teaching. By all appearances, his faith was solid.

But somewhere along the way, things began to separate.

Church life stayed intact.

But everything else, his habits, friendships, and lifestyle, moved in a different direction.

What followed wasn’t an immediate rejection of God…

but a slow erosion of belief.

Guest Bio:

Peter Christensen is an engineer from Minnesota who was raised in a strong Christian home but experienced a season of deep doubt in his late twenties. Influenced by philosophical challenges around free will and determinism, Peter wrestled with whether he truly believed in God at all. Through honest conversations, community, marriage, and a renewed pursuit of truth, he found his way back to a grounded and resilient faith. Today, Peter is a husband, father of three, and an active member of his church, where he continues to grow in discipleship, community, and apologetics.
