Was Jesus a RADICAL Liberal?

Description

Jesus did confront injustice. He did care for the marginalized. He did call out corrupt religious leaders. But here’s what this woman misses: Jesus died for our sins.

Jesus said He came “to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45).

John the Baptist said He’s “the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world” (John 1:29).

Paul said “Christ died for our sins” (1 Corinthians 15:3).

Peter said “He bore our sins in his body on the cross” (1 Peter 2:24).

In other words, Jesus and his followers aren’t vague about why Jesus gave his life. Jesus didn’t merely die because He upset the system. He died to save sinners.
