The First Fall: Did Satan Corrupt the Animal Kingdom?
Description
Greg Koukl and Tim Barnett evaluate an objection raised by Alex O’Connor about the problem of animal suffering before the Fall. Greg points out that the illustration of harming an animal appeals to moral intuition, even though a naturalistic worldview cannot justify why suffering is truly wrong. By contrast, Christianity can make sense of suffering by recognizing that pain often serves a protective function in a designed system.
