"Hello, everyone! I’m Elle ISO Elohim, and in this video I will be unboxing, swatching, coloring with, and reviewing my new alcohol-based markers.

I purchased these on Amazon from the brand Ohuhu, and chose the largest set available, which includes 100 colors.

The sets come in this canvas bag, which makes storing and transporting them very easy.

Inside, we have a swatch chart. Some colors don’t follow the ROYGBIV sequence as best as they could, but they are all in order numerically. The version on Ohuhu’s website wasn’t organized at all, so I was very happy to see this chart, instead.

The next thing included in the bag is a 8.5” by 5.5” sheet of plastic to help protect whatever’s underneath your artwork from markers bleeding through. Unfortunately, mine came with the corner broken off, cuts, and minor scuffs all over. I’m not sure how this could have happened, and was initially kind of concerned this meant the set came used. Not a great first impression, but if it weren’t for the damage, I think including this item is a brilliant idea.

Hidden in between the markers is a card. This side shows FAQs regarding Ohuhu’s policies to replace defective pens and refund unhappy customers.

I contacted the email provided and received each response within one business day. Both Ohuhu associates I talked to, Ada and Belle, were very kind and helpful, and they have shipped out a new plastic pad for me!

Getting back to this card, the other side promotes a 10% off merchandise discount to those who share their user experience online. That’s a cool perk, especially since I’m doing this video, anyway."

"It makes me so excited to start working on my next piece when I see these kinds of results.

Congratulations, Ohuhu, you’ve made the winning alcohol markers in my mind.

Now, I know I don’t really have much to compare these markers to when it comes to personal experience, but I can safely say I am happy.

Before hearing about Ohuhu markers, Copic markers were what I had always wanted. Unfortunately, Copic markers cost between $6-10 each, and that’s always been way out of my budget. Even if I wanted to invest $60 into markers, 6-10 markers is all I would have had to show for it. By investing $52 on Ohuhu markers, instead, I got 100 markers!

While it still would have been out of my price range, this quality of marker would have impressed me for $5. For $0.52 each, or $0.50 each if you call the bag $2, the price is as incredible as the quality is! I will have to do an update in a year or so to show how well they last after a ton of use, but based on every other review I’ve seen online, in addition to the quality Ohuhu has shown me personally so far, I am hopeful that I will still be as impressed and excited about these, then.

So, here are the final results, everyone! I think it’s awesome that I took what was intended to be a child-like coloring sheet for crayons and made it look so professional and realistic by just using Ohuhu markers! Infact, upon seeing this piece, my friend thought the colors looked so good that they must have been printed from a computer! How’s that for impressive?

Concluding everything I’ve said so far and giving some final thoughts, here are the main pros and cons of Ohuhu’s alcohol markers.

My favorite things about this product are the cost, colors, quality, and customer service.

My least favorite thing is the lack of attention to detail. This is shown through backwards caps, an upside down broad tip, angled design to the caps that prevent stacking them, the damaged product that somehow past inspection and got shipped, and the fact numbers can rub off of the caps, although not shown in this video.

While the damaged product has been resolved, I hope Ohuhu will take notes to fix or prevent the other things in the future. Still, even with the cons, I see no reason not to recommend this product!
