If God Ordains Suffering, Why Pray for Deliverance?
Description
Greg and Amy discuss the tension between God's sovereign purposes in suffering and the biblical command to pray for relief from persecution. They note that Scripture contains examples of God answering prayers for suffering believers, even though not every prayer is answered in the way people hope. Because Christians cannot know who will ultimately be delivered or martyred, they should continue praying for God's intervention while leaving the outcome in his hands.
