Alex O’Connor Redefines Purpose — Greg Pushes Back
Description
Greg Koukl and Tim Barnett analyze how Alex O’Connor and Hindu psychiatrist Dr. Alok Kanojia approach purpose in largely utilitarian and psychological terms, focusing on what feels satisfying or helpful. While these goals can sound noble and may help people cope or feel better, they avoid the deeper question of whether those purposes are actually right or wrong. This omission reveals a key weakness in secular worldviews. By contrast, the Christian worldview grounds both meaning and morality in God, allowing purpose to be evaluated as genuinely good or evil.
